Booking an appointment

The practice offers a wide range of appointments throughout the week. These include:

Routine appointments which can be booked up to 4-6 weeks in advance.

Same day appointments for urgent problems. We aim to see all urgent medical problems on the same day as they are requested.

48 hour appointments. These are available for patients with problems which may not be urgent but who would like to be seen in the next 48 hours. We cannot guarantee that you will be seen by your preferred doctor or nurse for these appointments.

Special Clinic Appointments. These may all be booked in advance except the Women’s Health Clinic which is a walk in service on Tuesday afternoons.

You may make an appointment by telephoning the surgery directly, in person or online through our EMIS computer system. If you wish to register for the online booking please contact reception as you will need to obtain a booking number.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know. Every month there are over 200 missed appointments which could have been used by other patients.
